Here’s the first story I did for The World.

I first learned about Kyaw Zaw Lwin’s case in an op-ed Elaine Pearson of Human Rights Watch published in the Baltimore Sun. A few days later I produced an interview with Sheilah, Pearson, and Wa Wa Kyaw, Kyaw Zaw Lwin’s fiancee.

I covered Zaw Lwin’s imprisonment and release a lot after that, mostly for Maryland Morning; once more for The World.

Here’s the story at The World‘s site.
